Great Drywall Guy – The Best Ever!
Don Hodges repaired our kitchen ceiling. We had a bad drywall job done by someone else. Don repaired it and did a wonderful job! The patch is perfect now. Don has worked for us many times in the past and we have always been happy with his work. His work is excellent!
Takes the time to do it right
"We've had Don do a bunch of work around the house including: * Over the range microwave installation * Siding repair * Rotten wood replacement * Removal of shelves and patching of holes * Drywall repair (hole patching) * Light switch replacement * Towel rack replacement * Screen repair and replacement * Front door weatherstripping * Closet door ball-catch replacement My wife keeps a prioritized, running list of stuff to be done. When the list gets full, we get Don out to work through the items. Don is very conscientious and detailed oriented. He takes the time to do the work right. We were very pleased with the quality of the work."

Superb drywall project
"Don and his son Duncan just finished up a ceiling drywall job for us and did a wonderful job. They were both well-spoken, thorough and attentive to detail and the end result is more than I could have hoped. He even took time to make the stipple pattern for the patching look as close to the rest of the ceiling as possible.
From initial measurements to the eventual cleanup Don took extra care to see it all done to my satisfaction and this was appreciated. Would highly recommend if you need some drywall work done and will use again. Thanks Don and Duncan!"

Extremely Pleased!!!
4/11/18: I am extremely pleased with the work done by Don. He provided a detailed quote for drywall work in my kitchen and garage, and he followed up by performing each item listed. Don put up plastic drop cloths from ceiling to floor, in order to minimize dust in our kitchen, and he placed drop cloth over our family room furnishings and floors below his work area. He showed up on time, worked late, and cleaned up every day. Don consulted me often, to ensure I was aware of everything he was doing. He is very detailed and takes great pride in his work. Don treated my home as if it were his own, and I couldn't be more pleased. I plan to use Don again for future projects, and I would highly recommend him.
Thoughtful Craftsmanship
3/21/18: We had HRSI do a variety of projects for us from landscaping to exterior repairs to building a brand-new closet in our basement. In each case Don provided a very detailed estimate and kept us informed throughout his work. Throughout the entire process you can't help but feel the thoughtfulness that goes into each step to ensure you are happy with the end product. There are no shortcuts and the end result reflect the quality and care Don and team handle each job no matter the size. We could not be happier with our new barn door closet and wouldn't hesitate to recommend HRSI to our friends and neighbors.

2/5/18: Don & Duncan did a superb job on replacing the railing on our back deck and removing a trip hazard on the front deck. I appreciate HRSi frequent communication and staying on schedule as much as this rainy February would allow. I have already hired HRSi for another project! Very happy with the outcome.

8/12/17: HRSi did a fantastic job for me recently right after Christmas- this was a complicated finished basement ceiling repair (replacing a ton of drywall from a leak) and also finishing out a drywall/replacing a door to our hot water heater/furnace area- where the wall had to be cut out to actually get to a faulty water heater. Don't be fooled- putting in this new bi-fold door had stumped quite a few contractors, as it was a TIGHT fit. They did a FANTASTIC job- it looks better than I could have imagined. And I felt comfortable enough that I could leave and let them keep working while I ran a couple of errands. I highly recommend!
A first class experience
8/7/17: HRSi (Don and Duncan) did an excellent job with two drywall repair projects in our home. One of the projects was a re-do of a previous contractor's failed repair and the other was very challenging due to some hidden issues in the ceiling joists. HRSi completed both projects over the course of two days, running into the evening of the second day, in order to get our for-sale home show-ready again. We are very pleased with the results. HRSi's professionalism, attention to detail and commitment to do the job right was evident and very much appreciated. I would gladly do business with HRSi again and strongly recommend HRSi to anyone reading this review.
Honest, dependable reasonable rates
6/29/17: After having two disappointments with other contractors to get some ceiling and wall repairs done after a roof leak, I contacted Hodges. When he came to give me the estimate, he was friendly, professional and showed a general concern for doing the job properly. He and I even discussed a couple other things that needed to be done that were apart from what I NEEDED to be done. I was very satisfied with the quotes he sent me and approved all the jobs. He and his son fit me into his schedule since he knew my frustration of not getting this done from the prior two contractors. They finished the job in two days and also cleaned everything up when they were done. I would be glad to recommend him to family and friends.
